Description

GoPublic4Life is a Pro-Life event consisting of 90 minutes of peaceful, public prayer by LIFE-minded individuals gathering together at multiple locations ACROSS THE STATE of ILLINOIS.

GoPublic4Life objectives:

To create a BIG PUBLIC PRESENCE across the state declaring the sanctity of human LIFE.
To increase public awareness by praying at facilities where abortions or other life-ending services are performed, or at an appropriate, public location.
To increase the potential for a widespread spiritual revival in the land.
To publicly assemble and exercise our First Amendment right to worship the God of the Bible and uphold the born and unborn's right to life.

This is a Christian, multi-denominational event. We will respect everyone’s freedom to worship and pray in an orderly fashion that is most comfortable to them. When prayers are sincere and genuine, we trust that God “…hears my voice and my prayer for mercy…he bends down to listen (Psalms 116.1) and we are reminded ”The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results .” (James 5:16)

Our unity is found in our devotion, allegiance and dependence upon God to remove the anti-life "mountain" in our culture: ABORTION.

Recommended Prayer Platform

• 30 minutes of Worship (may sing, listen to worship music, play instruments or personal adoration, etc.)

• 30 minutes of Corporate Prayer (praying with others, reading/saying/praying informal or formal prayers, etc.)

• 30 minutes of Silence (quiet, interpersonal reflection, praying, listening, waiting, responding to the Holy Spirit, etc.)

Do you have a small group? Don't despise small beginnings! For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. Matt 18:20. Use the self-directed format.
